Attention chefs of all levels! We need you!
Whether you’re a “pro” or just a “regular Joe,” if you enjoy cooking or baking and want to support the Polar Bear Foundation as we raise funds for GRANTS for the teachers/staff and SCHOLARSHIPS for graduating seniors of the Northern York County School District, this is the event for you! Showcase your culinary talents and SIGN UP by September 6th to be a chef at the September 21st “Anyone Can Cook” event at the Greystone Brew House Pavilion!
Signing up to be a chef is free, and you (and up to two helpers) receive free entry to the event!

“TOP CHEF” GETS THEIR WINNING RECIPE* AS A MENU ITEM AT GREYSTONE BREW HOUSE!
The Anyone Can Cook event, hosted by the PBF at the pavilion at GREYSTONE BREW HOUSE in Dillsburg, is a friendly cooking competition where local chefs of all levels compete for first place in one of four food categories:
- salads and appetizers
- soups/stews/chilies
- entrees
- desserts
The winners from the 2023 Anyone Can Cook and their PBF cutting boards.
The winner in each category receives bragging rights and a beautiful porcelain plate with the PBF logo to proudly display at home or in the office! Then the winner who receives the most overall votes is crowned “Top Chef,” receives a trophy, and has their winning recipe* featured on the Greystone Brew House menu for a month!

Who votes for the winners? The attendees! Attendees get to enjoy food samplings prepared by the chefs, drinks, local craft beer from HEMAUER BREWING CO., listen to live music, plus other fun activities. Each ticket enables the attendee to vote on the winner in each food category AND vote in the best-decorated booth competition! All for $49.00! Tickets to attend/sponsor can be purchased HERE. NEW THIS YEAR
Attendees can purchase additional vote tickets at the event to “stuff the ballot” and help you win the “Top Chef” award!
Each chef is encouraged to have fun and decorate their booth! The booth with the most votes wins a trophy!
WHAT CHEFS SUPPLY
- All ingredients for your dish(es)
- Cooking/warming equipment/serving utensils
- Plates/bowls/utensils/etc. for your dish
- Canopy for shade (outside of main tent area)
- Chairs
- Ice/propane/extension cords/etc
WHAT PBF SUPPLY
- Approximately a 10’x10′ “booth” in a tented area
- Two tables with linens per booth
- Sign with chef and dish name
- Trash bin at serving tables
- Access to electricity (LIMITED!!)
The sign-up deadline for chefs is September 6, 2024. Space is limited to a max of 36 chefs!
